as part of the songkran festivities there is a parade of buddhas.

… the Buddha images from all of the city’s important monasteries are paraded through the streets so that people can toss water at them, ritually ‘bathing’ the images, as they pass by on ornately decorated floats.

there are lots of important wats (monasteries) here.  which meant lots and lots of buddhas.

and that’s not all of them. it’s just when i decided i was too hot and tired to stay any longer.
