this morning bh and i woke up bright and early so we could get to my appointment with the skin doctor. before we left i checked my email only to learn that the contract on our house in colorado fell through. i wasn’t too surprised, but certainly was disappointed. there’s not a lot we can do about it, so we try not to worry. besides we have other places to be. so we head to the hospital where i have the bad, bad skin cancers removed from my body. and i’m left with this…
i have to leave it covered for 24 hours. but tomorrow i’ll post a pic of the stitches. i also have this…
not a real picture. this computer rendering of a buttocks was done by me and no, i’m not taking any clients. and i won’t be posting a picture of those stitches uncovered. that would be too much sharing.
and waan, sensing i’ve had somewhat of a rough morning, greets me at the door with this. it’s his feel better present for me.

sorry to hear about the house. too bad the dog didn’t bring in a dead lizard!

now, um, are not all skin cancers a result of uv/sun exposure then? Or why exactly did you have one on your butt? You never fail to surprise

it is the result of uv/sun exposure and several other factors that come into play. also between your toes and other places the son don’t shine!! oh, and thanks for the compliment – i’m not yet 40 and i don’t think you get old until like 75…
but bh has said i’m middle aged!!

So sorry about the skin cancer. I hope you will be all right very soon. Sorry about the contract too. I can’t believe how bad the housing market is right now. We wanted to refinance after we had spent about $30K this last year fixing our house up. We can’t. Our house has lost $25K in value–from where we started. It’s too depressing to think about.
Lastly, you certainly know your doggie loves you, don’t you? Double, triple, quadruple…YUCK!
oh, yes, hate the housing market right now…

i am glad you are getting the word out about self-checking skin cancer. scary. i will keep prayers your way. i have been going crazy with my oH about sunscreen, I told him about you and seem to peek his interest in sunscreen. that shaved head NEEDS sunscreen too.
sorry about the house, i thought the contract would go through. apparently, they are cracking down on who they lend to these days. they see it COULD be a problem just giving out money to just anyone. go figure. the lot has been the problem. sore subject with me too. tell your mom ‘hi’ for me.
i know it’s wrong of me, but couldn’t they have just let one more family get in over their heads? j/k (sort of) and yes, sunscreen on his head!! i can’t even imagine the pain of a sunburn on bald head!
