Lullibell has been very concerned about you all learning the language…Keep up the optimism (I am still blindly flailing around in the pit of despair)
i have taken to hovering about the pit trying to ignore it. the language will come, i hope.
Good luck! I hope it goes well! Thanks for the kind birthday wishes!
toni, thank you. i have now learned that broccoli in thai is broccoli!! i should teach thai! tm
fun, fun, fun, I don know how you can stand all the excitement in your life everyday. You will be speaking Thai before you know it!
carrie - oh my, the class is moving so fast! i could like totally hold a conversation with anyone who was patient enough as i flip through my flash cards!! tm
I just read several of your blog posts; what an exciting time you are having. And, I’m envious of all that you have learned to cook. The dishes you prepared look delicious!
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Oh, and I like the time and temperature widget you have on the sidebar. It is so WARM there. (as opposed to here.)
joyce - thanks for stopping by!! and it is SO WARM here. i’d trade for a little of the cold!! tm

I wonder if Rosetta Stone has one for Thai. It’s a great program to do on your own, at your own pace! Good luck, regardless!
secret - my husband is doing the online rosetta stone - they won’t shift the software to thailand… tm
Good luck and keep the optimism.
thanks, kelli!! tm

adamswife - thanks! i’m enjoying meeting new blogs!! tm
Know what you mean! I’ve had people speaking Thai around me almost every day for two years and still haven’t gotten past “sa-ba-di-KA” and “tom yum gai”. But I’m sure it will be easier for you with formal instruction.
Good to find other moms on adventures. I’ll definitely put a link on my links page.
sovereign - i’m hoping the formal instruction does the trick! tm
good luck! i hope it comes easier to you.
planet janet (as opposed to all those other janets) - i’m sure it will. working hard on a positive attitude here!! tm
